  3. After this add chopped pineapple and roast for anorher 5-7min. I have used here fresh pineapple.If you dont have it,then you can used canned pineapple, but in that case decrease the amount of sugar you add.
  4. Add hot water to the mixture, mix well and cover it
  5. After 5-7 min lift the lid. Usually shira gets cooked in that time. If you think it's not yet completely cooked,cover it again and keep for few min more.You can add more hot water if required.
  6. After semolina is cooked,add sugar and mix well. Again cover it for a while for sugar to dissolve and get mixed properly. You can adjust amount of sugar as per your taste.
  7. Remove from flame. Add dudh masala and mix well. I use the trick of adding dudh masala to sweets, as it all-in-one, ie, elaichi powder,dryfruits and kesar. It is one of the best taste enhancers for any sweet.Mix well.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy the flavour and aroma!
