- Heat 1tbsp oil in a pressure cooker.
- Add whole masalas and sautè for a sec.
- Add sliced onions and green chillies and sautè for a min.
- Add ginger garlic paste and sautè for a min on medium flame.
- Add the veggies one by one and sautè on medium flame for 5 mins.
- Add the tomatoes (optional) saute for a min.
- Add the coriander and mint leaves saute on low flame for a min.
- Add the basmati rice and give a quick stir.
- Add 1 1/2 cup of water (for one cup rice).
- Mix everything properly and close the cooker.
- Pressure cook for 2 whistles.
- Turn off the flame wait for the pressure to go.
