- Get 1 cup besan (gram flour)
- Prepare 1 small onion, finely chopped
- Prepare 1 small tomato finely chopped (optional)

- Make ready 1/2 inch ginger finely chopped
- Get 1/2 teaspoon ajwain
- Take 2-3 pinches turmeric powder

Steps to make Veg omelette:
- Take 1 cup besan in a mixing bowl.
- Add all the ingredients except water and oil.
- Add water little by little and mix it with a whisk so that there are no lumps formed. You can always add in more water if required
- This should be consistency
- Heat up a tawa add a bit oil and pour 2 spoons batter. Thickness is up to you. Gently spread the batter in circle.
- Once cooked from one side. Flip it and cook. Sprinkle some oil on both sides.
- It's ready! Serve hot.
- Notes: 1. you can make stuffed chillas also. 2. Batter should not be too thin or too thick. 3. Serve with some ketchup or coriander chutney.
