  12. Get 1/2 tbsp Turmeric powder
  13. Make ready 1/4 tbsp Cumin powder
  14. Make ready 6-7 Crushed black pepper
  15. Make ready 1 tsp Red chilli powder (optional)
  16. Take 1/4 tbsp Garam masala
  17. Take As per taste Salt

Place the shrimps or prawns (if it's what you are using) on your oven racks. Depending on the heating capacity of your oven, this may be less so please keep an eye on it. Roast in low flame.in between keep on adding curry leaves and coconut oil . Roast till the prawns get dark red color.(.

Steps to make Dry Prawns:
  1. Wash and clean prawns very well which take much time around 15 to 20 mins, this is the main task.
  2. Marinate prawns with rice, corn and gram flour then mix ginger, garlic and green chillies paste, cumin powder, turmeric powder, black crushed pepper and garam masala, curry leaves and leave for 30 mins then add salt and leave for 15 to 20 mins.
  3. Take small container which should have more depth and less in width to observe less oil. Take oil in the container.
  4. Once container is hot, take a maximum of 3 to 4 marinated prawns and do deep fry.
  5. If you want more crispness, then deep fry 3/4 all the prawns as per above step. Once all the prawns are fried 3/4 then deep fry all the prawns again in slow flame for 5min and check the crispness.
  6. Serve hot and do garnishing with lemon and onion slices, green chillies and coriander leaves.
