- Get 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- Prepare 1 tbsp Red chilli powder

Please test the Masala and check if salt is required as it is already put in the prawns during marination. Reduce the flame to a medium high and let the prawns cook until the masala thickens.
Steps to make Prawns dry masala:
- Peel prawns, cut potato in a small cubed.
- Heat oil, add curry leaves, green chilli,onion & salt fry them till onion soft.
- Add tomato stir well. Now add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder stir, add some water mix well.
- Now add prawns & potato stir. Cover & cook fr 10 mnts in low flame.
- Add tarmarind cook for 5 mnts than add coriander leaves. Enjoy with rice & daal.
Please test the Masala and check if salt is required as it is already put in the prawns during marination. Reduce the flame to a medium high and let the prawns cook until the masala thickens. Switch off the flame and garnish the prawn masala with coriander leaves. Serve Chettinad Prawn Masala with some piping hot rice and a dollop of ghee. yum o yum! This dish can also be served with thengai paal saadam or egg biryani.
