- Take 1 tbsp ghee
- Make ready 1 cup desicated coconut
- Prepare 1/2 cup condensed milk
- Take 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
- Take 1 tbsp crushed almonds

Coconut Burfi or Nariyal barfi or Coconut Fudge or Kopra Pak is a very tasty and famous Indian dessert made of freshly grated coconut, milk, and sugar. Take a wide pan and add in the milk, sugar and fresh shredded coconut.

- In a pan add ghee and roast coconut until fragrant
- Add condensed milk to it and mix well until starts binding
- Add cardamom powder
- When it is binded well it will start leaving the sides of your pan.
- Dish out in a platter greased with a little ghee
- Spread evenly in a rectangle shape. Sprinkle almonds over it and press firmly
- Make cuts shape and the burfi aside to cool completely.
- Serve when cooled ❤
Keep the pan on stove and start stirring on medium flame. If the milk boils over, try to reduce the flame to low for a couple of minutes and increase the flame again. The coconut burfi had a melt in the mouth soft texture. You can also make coconut ladoos with the same mixture.
