  1. Sieve the flour,baking powder and baking soda together. Take another bowl add curd, water and sugar powder. Mix it properly.
  2. Now add flour mix and dessicated coconut.whisk it properly to make a smooth batter.cover and keep it for 10 minutes.
  3. Add oil and essence and mix gently by cut and fold method and transfer the batter in greased tin.Bake at 180degree for 30-40 minutes.
  4. Once baked allow it to cool.For icing mix malai,sugar powder, essence and 1 tbsp coconut powder in a bowl.Refrigerate it for 5 minutes.
  5. Spread the malai mixture on cake and top it up with a layer of dessicated coconut, garnish as per your likings.
