- In a big mixing bowl, boiled chopped potato and cheakpeas.
- Now add all chopped vegetables tomato, onion green chillies, grated raw mango.
- Now add salt, red chilli powder, coriander powder, sugar powder. And make it well.
- Now add puffed rice (murmure), mix well sprinkle chat masala on it.
- Quick and easy light dry bhel is ready to serve.
No liquid chutneys are added in dry bhel. Wet Bhel - Wet Bhel is known as "geela bhel" in Hindi. Dry bhel is made from bhadang, a spicy namkeen from Western Maharashtra, and is consumed after garnishing with onions, coriander and lemon juice. The Bengali variant of bhelpuri is called jhalmuri (meaning "spicy puffed rice"). A native Mysore variant of bhelpuri is known as churumuri or churmuri in Mangalore.
