The ingredients needed to make Veg biryani:
  1. Prepare Florets of 1 small size cauliflower
  2. Prepare 1 small bowl of green peas
  3. Make ready Some chopped french beans
  4. Get 1 large size sliced onion
  5. Get 2 small roughly sliced carrot
  6. Get 2 bay leaves
  7. Make ready 5-6 cloves
  8. Take 5-6 black pepper
  9. Make ready 2-3 small cardamom
  10. Make ready stick Small cinnamon
  11. Prepare Some cumin seeds
  12. Make ready 2 tbsp Desi ghee
  13. Make ready 2 tbsp cooking oil
  14. Take 2 tbsp butter
  15. Make ready 1 green chilli
  16. Take 2 red chillies
  17. Prepare Salt as per taste
  18. Take Red chilli powder as per taste
  19. Get Biryani masala as per taste
  20. Prepare 1 cup curd
  21. Get 3 glass basmati rice(you can use any rice)
Steps to make Veg biryani:
  1. In a wok add 3 glass of basmati rice and water to soak rice well for booking(approx 6-7 glass).
  2. Now add 2 tbsp ghee, some cumin seeds, 1 bay leaf, 4-5 cloves and mix them well at medium flame, till rice is 80% cooked.
  3. Once boiled 80% switch off the flame and strain the water completely.
  4. Now in another wok add 2tbsp butter and 2tbsp cooking oil. Then add 1bay leaf, 3-4black pepper, 2red chillies, 1chopped green chilli, some cumin seeds, cinnamon stick and saute for one minute at medium flame.
  5. Now add green peas to it and cook for 1minute.
  6. Now add french beans, carrot and cook it for 1minute at medium flame.
  7. Now add florets of cauliflower and cook till it partially softens.
  8. Now add sliced onion and cook for 2more minutes at medium flame. If you want you can add cashews also for additional crunch and flavour.
  9. Once veggies are partially softens, then spread 80% cooked boiled rice evenly on top of these veggies and cover it with lid and cook for 10 minutes on slow flame.
  10. Once rice are cooked properly,serve them curd or veg raita.
