  4. Add soaked bengal gram in it and mix it well.
  5. Now, add salt, turmeric powder and garam powder in it and mix it well so that it gets coated on vegetables.
  6. Then add washed rice in it and mix it.
  7. Now, add water as per the requirement then add chopped coriander leaves in it and cook it for 1 whistle then slow down the flame for 5 minutes then switch off the flame.
  8. Allow the pressure cooker to release it pressure.
  9. Dry khichdi is ready to serve now.
