- Take dry coconut & Peel it & make small pieces of it & mix it in a mixer.
- Mix milk & milkpowder in a pan & cook on a low flame.. mix coconut after 2 minutes & stir well.
- Mix sugar & water &make sugar syrup & mix in it coconut mixture.cook for 2 minutes now..
- Let it cool down & make a modak with help of palm.add Curshed dry fruits. Make design with toothpick.
- Modak is ready….
If you are using milkmaid or milk powder omit the sugar. You can increase the amount of shredded coconut and dry fruits both. Once it splutters add scrapped coconut and dry roast it. Just be careful Khaskhas and coconut should not burn. Add charoli, manuka (raisins), red chili powder, haldi (turmeric) powder, goda masala, hing (asafoetida), salt & sugar.
