  2. Add 2 cups grated coconut.
  3. Stir and roast the coconut on a low flame for 3 to 4 minutes. The roasting is to just get rid of some moisture. Don’t brown them.
  4. Now add 1/2 cup milk and 1/2 cup sugar. add more sugar for sweetness if required.
  5. Mix continuously keeping the flame on low.
  6. Sugar starts to melt and mixture turns watery.
  7. Keep stirring keeping the flame on low.
  8. Milk starts to evaporates after 20 minutes and mixture turns crumbly.
  9. Cool the mixture for 10 minutes or till they lightly cool down
  10. Divide the dough in three equal parts and Add rose water and Roohafza/rose syrup and green food color to it. and mix well
  11. Prepare small balls to form ladoo.
  12. Roll it with desiccated coconut.
  13. Finally, serve coconut ladoo or store in a airtight container for a week.
