  2. Take 1 cup dark brown sugar

  1. Wash glutinous rice, then add 1 cup of water. Simmer in low heat, until cook (15-20 minutes). Set aside
  2. On a separate pan, boil coconut milk until solid particles are seen (coconut fats/brown bits). Remove and set aside the fats. Wait until the coconut turned into pure clear oil.
  3. Add sugar, vanilla and cooked glutinous rice. Mix thoroughly. Cook in low heat for 15 minutes, until sugar is dissolved. It is important to continuously mix it to avoid burning.
