But, aluminum / stainless steel / plastic molds are widely used in modern times.

Cold cocoa kulfi is one of the most favored of current trending foods in the world. It’s enjoyed by millions every day. It is simple, it is fast, it tastes delicious. They’re fine and they look wonderful. Cold cocoa kulfi is something that I have loved my whole life.

  1. Prepare 1 litre milk
  2. Make ready 4 tbsp custard powder
  3. Get 4 tbsp cocoa powder
  4. Prepare 250 gm sugar

  6. Take 1/2 cup roughly chopped dark chocolate

Kulfi, or Indian and Pakistani ice cream, is a sweet, rich treat on a hot summer day. The traditional method of preparation can over an hour, but the patient chef is rewarded with an amazing nutty, caramelized flavor and chewy consistency. It provides the same chocolate kick as a cup of cocoa, but in an icy-cold, summer-friendly form. The cold-mix method is the simplest way to make cold cocoa.

Steps to make Cold cocoa kulfi:
  1. Take a pan. Add milk. Boil the milk.
  2. Now other side take a bowl add custard powder and 4 tbsp milk. Mix well. Make sure no lumps.
  3. Now in boiling milk add custard powder mixture. Gas flame is slow. And stir it continuously. For 3 to 4 mins.
  4. This batter become a thick.
  5. Other side take cocoa powder and more 4 tbsp milk and mix it without lumps.
  6. Now add cocoa powder mixture in milk. And stir it.
  7. Now add sugar. And mix it well.
  8. Off the gas flame.
  9. When it come on room temperature. Take a kulfi mould add this cold cocoa mixture in mould.
  10. Also add some dark chocolate.
  11. Put it in deep fridge for 6 to 7 hours.
  12. Ready to serve and eat.

Stir in cold milk, one tablespoon at a time, until it makes a thick paste. Place sweetened condensed milk in the fridge to keep cold. Beat cold heavy cream on medium in a stand mixer fitted with the whisk attachment (or using a hand mixer) until stiff peaks form. Turn down the speed a little and pour the condensed milk into the whipped cream. (Stir in vanilla extract now if desired). Grease kulfi moulds, if you have them, and sprinkle with chopped pistachios.
