- Take 2 big size potatoes and wash them them nicely, peel them off and cut them into thin and round pieces. Transfer these potatoes pieces to the vessel containing water and let them stay dipped in water till we prepare the batter for coating them.
- Now take a mixing bowl and add gram flour,chopped green chillies, ginger, coriander leaves and rest seasoning including salt, red chilli powder cumin powder, turmeric and ajwain. Mix all dry ingredients well.
- Now add some water slowly and mix well, avoid lump formation. The consistency of mixture should be medium not very thick nor thin, which forms uniformly coating potato pieces.
- Now heat some oil in the kadai, then take potato pieces and dip into batter nicely coated it and put it in hot oil for deep frying.
