- Make ready 1 cup corn flour
- Get 100 gms biscuits
- Make ready 1 cup ghee
- Take 1 1/2 cup sugar
- Get 2 tsp dry fruits chopped
- Take 1 2 lemon juice
- Get 4 drops orange Essence
- Prepare 4 drops red food colour
- Take 4 drops green food colour
I wanted to make this recipe for a very long time. I wanted to make this tart using a proper cream cheese and was looking for cream cheese to make this, but sadly i couldn't get it anywhere in my place. When we visited goa and we went to a super market. Sift the almond flour, salt and baking soda in a large bowl.
Instructions to make No bake halwa tart:
- Grind 100gms of biscuits to powder in mixi jar add 6sp butter/ghee make it crumbly texture,take around 5inch round mould line it and spread the biscuit mix all over mould and keep it in fridge/frizer to set.
- In a bowl add corn flour and 2cups water mix well keep aside.
- In a pan add sugar and 1cup water and cook till sugar dissolves then add lemon juice corn mix.
- Cook corn sugar mix till it becomes thick adding ghee in between spoon by spoon add dry fruits, when you see it leaving pan divide the mix in two parts add red to one and green to other.
- Now take out biscuit mould and fill red colour mix then on that green one level it and keep in fridge to set around 30min.
- Take out from fridge and cut it and serve no bake halwa tart.
Make a well in the center and add the melted butter, honey and egg all together. Mix it with a spoon until everything comes together. To make the crust: Pulse Oreo cookies, with filling, in a food processor until finely ground. Transfer crumbs to a medium bowl, add melted butter, and mix until combined and moistened. Serve halwa in prepared tarts and sprinkle dry fruits on top.
