Instructions to make Italian Temari Sushi:
  1. Combine all ingredients marked with a ♦ and mix in the sushi vinegar. Pour over cooked rice (should be a little hard) to make Western-flavored sushi rice.
  2. ♧: On a sheet of plastic wrap, place the smoked salmon, shiso leaf, and 1 heaping tablespoon of sushi rice. Wrap up and squeeze gently to form balls like a kinchaku pouch. Top with salmon roe.
  3. ♢: Wrap up the prosciutto, cream cheese, (black pepper if you'd like), and sushi rice with plastic wrap just like Step 2. Top with the leafy vegetable.
