I have used condensed milk and full-fat milk for this kulfi. In a small bowl, dissolve the crushed saffron with a tablespoon of warm milk. In a large bowl mix everything (milk, cream, condensed milk, saffron milk, cardamom seeds powder, rose water, bread crumbs and nuts).
Steps to make Bread Kulfi:
- Soak the two breads in bowl with a little bit of milk and put it aside. After 5-10 mins after the bread has been soaked break it down with a fork.
- Soak the saffron into warm milk
- Take another bowl and add two cups of cream and add condensed milk, mashed bread, saffron milk, chopped almonds and pistachios
- Now mix this with a hand blender
- Take a cake tin and cover it with cling wrap
- Pour the mixture inside the cake tin
- Now leave it for 4 hrs inside the freezer until it is nicely set
- Now cut into pieces and garnish with few chopped almonds and pistachios. Enjoy your cool kulfa
