To make the stuffing, I have used potatoes, peas and carrot. Veggies like Cauliflower, baby corn, sweet corn, sweet potatoes or mushrooms can also be used. Once the filling is cooked and stuffed, the only step left is to slide them into the oven. Place the peppers cut-side up in a baking dish just large enough to hold them upright.
Steps to make Baked stuffed capsicum:
- Firstly in a bowl put smashed potatoes, sweet corn, coriander leaves, black pepper powder, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, to taste salt, chaat masala pwd,onion mix it everything properly.
- Now take capsicum wash and cut in to top portions and remove it seeds with knife.
- Now stuff prepared potatoes mixture then sprinkl some grated cheese and reserve some cheese for garnishing and apply oil all around the capsicum.
- And bake it for 10 min on preheated oven at 180 dgree Celsius.
- Now take out from oven and garnish with some remaining cheese
Add the beef, season with salt. Cut the core from the inside of the peppers and strip away any seeds. You can add more cheese before doing so if you want. Spoon an equal amount of the mixture into each hollowed pepper. Mix the remaining tomato sauce and Italian seasoning in a bowl, and pour over the stuffed peppers.
