Steps to make Khichdi:
- Soak rice and dal for 30 mins before preparing Khichdi. Turn on the gas. Place a pressure cooker and pour ghee. Now add Zeera, Asafoetida. When it's cracks add onion, Tomatoes. Saute it for 2 mins in the high flame then add all veggies, turmeric powder, black pepper powder.
- Saute it for 5 mins. Then add water rice and dal, salt and give load. Wait for 2 whistles to come. Then low the gas for 5 more mins. Then turn off the gas.
- Now Khichdi is ready to serve.
