- In a separate bowl mix red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, salt and water, mix well and add with the vegetables.
- Let them cook. When oil separates n turns into nice bhuna masala, - Remove from heat - Now put all this masala with boiled daal. Mix, ghota with wooden spoon.
- Turn heat on medium low heat. So all masala cook completely with lauki n veges.
- For tarka: In a pan heat 1/2 cup oil, add garlic 2 whole bulbs cut into slices, - Button red chillies 6-8 - Zeera 2 tbsp - Fresh curry leaves 6 - Green chillies 2 cut into 4 - Now put this tarka on daal immediately - Do not over cook tarka - Add tarka when daal is completely done.
