  6. Make ready 3 tablespoons Roasted Sesame Seeds
  7. Get 1-2 cloves Garlic *grated
  8. Take 1 small piece Ginger *grated
  9. Get 1/2 Apple *grated
  10. Get 1/4 Onion * grated
  11. Get 1/2 cup Soy Sauce
  12. Get 2 tablespoons Mirin
  13. Make ready 1-2 teaspoons Toban Djan (Chili Bean Sauce)
  14. Get *Note: Add 1-2 teaspoons Sugar if you like it sweeter
  15. Make ready *Note: Combine all ingredients in a sauce pan and bring it to a boil. Once it starts boiling, remove from the heat, then cool

Remove from heat and remove only the ginger slice from then sauce. Stir in dashi stock and set aside until it's ready to use. It's perfect for dipping thinly sliced of well-marbled short rib and other grilled goodies. It's summer and that means time to BBQ!

Instructions to make Yakiniku:
  1. Heat the grill or hotplate, and cook the ingredients. *Note: Use appropriate cooking tools or appliances that are suitable for the environment where you are cooking.

  3. As things are eaten, cook more as required. This way everyone can eat until they are satisfied.
