Instructions to make Rava Ladoo (Sooji):
  1. Dry roast rava in a pan until aroma release. Keep stirring. Remove and keep aside. Now dry roast desiccated coconut in medium flame and remove it. - Cool down completely. Mean while grind sugar and cardamom in grinder to a fine powder. Remove and keep in the bowl.
  2. Now add roasted rava and coconut in same grinder and grind it into coarse powder. It should be slightly coarse not very coarse. Transfer this to sugar bowl.
  3. Add ghee in hot pan, roast cashews in medium flame until golden. Remove it. In same pan add raisins, cardamom powder and saute it. Remove and keep it.
  4. Pour cashews, raisins in the rava mixture along with ghee. Stir with spoon until ghee coated well. Now use hand and mix it well. - Take small portions and make it into cute little balls. Store them in airtight container and it stays good 2 to 4 weeks.
