  10. Prepare 1 cup or so water or 1 can beef broth

It's a quick and easy meal that's hearty, comforting and tastes sooooo good. Shred cabbage if not using a bag of shredded cabbage. Add cabbage into pan and saute with the meat just until the cabbage begins to soften. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil.

  1. In a large saucepan, cook ground beef and onion, do not drain
  2. Add the garlic, tomato sauce and paste, uncooked rice, cabbage, salt and pepper and enough water and/or broth to just cover the cabbage
  3. Bring to simmer then cover the pot and simmer for 20-25 minutes until the cabbage has softened and rice is tender
  4. You may add more water or broth if it’s too thick for your liking
  5. Serve with hot garlic bread and get ready to serve seconds! LoL

Reduce heat and allow to simmer until rice is done. In a large skillet, combine sauce ingredients. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer. Meanwhile, in a large bowl, combine the rice, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Add cabbage, tomatoes, tomato sauce, water, garlic, salt, and pepper and bring to a boil.
